Get Started and Apply

If you’re thinking about returning to school as an adult student, congratulations!  This is a smart move and you’ve come to the right place.  Completing your college degree can boost your job satisfaction, earning potential, and quality of life. Let us help you with the next steps.
There are three ways for part-time, working adult students to get started in the Providence College School of Continuing Education:

1. Speak with one of our friendly advisers, who will help you choose the program that’s right for you and map out a degree completion plan with you.  Daytime, evening and phone appointments are available. Call 401.865.2487 or email sce@providence.edu.

2. Take some classes before you apply. You can simply register for classes as a "non-degree" student.  (Note:  TCP students may take no more than two classes as a non-degree student before being admitted into the program)

3. Apply for admission. If you know the SCE undergraduate degree or certificate program you’re interested in, start here:

Current or former members of the U.S. Armed Forces:  please access your Joint Services Transcript (JST) and submit it with your application.  Your military coursework and training will be evaluated for possible transfer credit.

Will you need Financial Aid?

NOTE: You must be fully admitted into a program and enrolled before financial aid can be awarded. For further information, contact PC's Office of Financial Aid at finaid@providence.edu or 401.865.2286.
