Academic Media Services (AMS) provides classroom technology support services to the Providence College community. AMS provides equipment, training and support for classroom presentations and limited non-academic events.  AMS maintains all classroom presentation technology, as well as a collection of media equipment for student and faculty loan, and large format printing services for classroom and research presentations.  AMS facilities in Feinstein include a media editing room for video and audio projects.​

​The Office of Academic Services at Providence College is dedicated to fostering academic excellence and to helping students prepare to become responsible and productive citizens in the greater societal and world communities.​The Office of Academic Services is available to assist all Providence College students through a combination of academic and personal development programming, including individualized and group academic assistance, tutoring, specialized workshops, and outreach.  The Office offers unique attention and support to students with disabilities by providing reasonable academic accommodations and advocating for equal access to all services and programs offered to members of the campus at-large.  The Office also provides specialized support to student-athletes in light of the unique time demands, responsibilities, and rules governing participation in intercollegiate athletics.

The Office of Admission is responsible for the recruitment and selection of all applicants to the Undergraduate Day School at Providence College. Sixteen admission counselors and five support staff are available to assist students throughout their college search as they work to determine if Providence College is the right fit for them. ​

​The Bursar's office includes Student Accounts and Student Loans. The Student Accounts area is specifically responsible for the billing and collection of tuition, room and board charges, and other fees associated with enrollment at the college. The Student Loan area is responsible for administering the Federal Direct Loan & Federal Perkins Loan program.​

The Office of Enrollment Services is responsible for maintaining academic records, assigning classroom space and coordinating the registration needs for the College. Our office values the efficient management of any and all records ensuring their integrity, confidentiality and security. We are committed to service excellence, as demonstrated by our personalized care and attention to our students, parents, faculty, staff and external constituencies. As primary information resources for students and faculty, this office actively seeks ways to effectively communicate to inform students of their rights, responsibilities and procedures while also providing additional support to our faculty's classroom efforts​

​The Feinstein Institute for Public Service is comprised of faculty, staff, students, and community partners who engage in thoughtful reflection and dialogue with the shared goal of working to strengthen local communities. By working together, the Institute and its partners can provide quality service experiences for students and valuable benefits for local communities. On campus, the Institute supports academic departments and individual faculty members who want to integrate community and civic engagement into their curriculum, through local and global service-learning courses. The Institute also coordinates several programs, including Community Work-Study, which allows students with a federal work-study award to work at community organizations and the EXPLORE! program, which promotes awareness of, access to, and readiness for college and career among first-generation high school students. Off campus, the Institute helps the College to manage the PC/Smith Hill Annex, a 1,500 square-foot storefront in the local neighborhood used by PC and neighborhood residents for meetings, programs, events and gatherings that build leadership capacity and strengthen community.​

​This area is responsible for ad-hoc and routine internal management financial reports, cost analyses and grant management for the college.  This area engages in business and budget analyses as requested or as conditions warrant.  Endowment tracking, long-term strategic financial modeling and special projects analyses are also key functions of this area​.

​The General Accounting Office is responsible for ensuring that the financial activities of the college are completely and accurately recorded.  The General Accounting staff oversees the month end and year end general ledger closings, reconciles all balance sheet accounts, and maintains accurate investment account records.  Questions regarding accounting transactions and journal entries should be directed to these individuals.


The General Accounting Office is located on the 4th floor of Harkins Hall.​

The Office of Institutional Advancement supports and enhances the Catholic and Dominican mission of Providence College through the engagement of alumni, students, parents, friends, and other constituents. The Controller's Office oversees the college's general accounting, payroll services, and accounts payable functions and is responsible for maintaining an accurate and effective accounting system.  The office ensures compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and other regulatory requirements. The Controller's Office is also responsible for the preparation of the college's financial statements and coordinates the preparation of the college's annual tax returns.

The Payroll Services Office is responsible for paying faculty, staff, and students on a timely and accurate basis via the monthly, bi-weekly, and student payrolls.  The Payroll Services Office staff ensures compliance with federal and state regulations and is responsible for coordinating the filing of federal and state payroll tax reports, transmitting payroll taxes, and producing employee W-2's.
