​Vanity URL Form Reminders:

• You must submit your request 1 week in advance of when it is needed

Vanity URLs help drive traffic to your sites and pages. Please review our policies about vanity URLs before submiting a request: http://www.providence.edu/web/policies/Pages/url-naming-conventions.aspx.

There are two types of vanity URLs available:

• www.providence.edu/vanity - used for high-profile departmental sites (such as www.providence.edu/momentum for http://www.providence.edu/finance-business/momentum/Pages/default.aspx)
• prov.ly/vanity - used for temporary or seasonal pages (such as event pages, submission forms, announcements, etc. - ex: prov.ly/testprep) and is great for social media publicity

Please note: necessity for a vanity URL is determined by the Director of Web Services, as which type of link that will be given. Please refer to the link above on URL guidelines for our full policy.
