Amnesty International (AI) is a worldwide movement of people who campaign for internationally recognized human rights. AI's vision is of a world in which every person enjoys all of the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights standards.​​​

The Providence College Anscombe Society​

 As a chapter of the Love and Fidelity Network, the Anscombe Society promotes healthy relationships and human dignity as an alternative to the campus hook-up culture. Our events not only seek to foster discussion about the deeper meaning of marriage and sexuality, but also to help our peers build healthy and lasting relationships during their time at college. We also seek to help those wounded by pornography addiction and broken relationships ​​to find healing and freedom.  “We’re not talking about repression or prudishness, but about having a sense of your dignity and worth.” –Jason Evert​

​Chess Club​

The PC Chess club brings strategic thinking, intellectual competition, and worldly entertainment​ to the PC campus. The Club welcomes members of every level, from beginner to Grand​​master.​​

PC Lifestyle & Fashion

​PC Lifestyle & Fashion is a student run organization under the School of Business, focused on creating awareness of fashion, food, athletics, campus activities, business topics and events within the Rhode Island area.  Members are provided with hands-on experience in each field than can eventually be transferred to the workplace.  The club hosts events including speakers and entrepeneurs to show members how their passions can be carried on to their careers after college.  Members come together to use their social media, photography, writing, marketing, and communication skills to effectively create an online blog that positively reflects the lifestyle of the everyday PC student.

Residence Hall​​​ Association (RHA)​​

The Residence Hall Association allows students to plan social events within their residence halls. Events are planned each month to give students a chance to have fun, relax, and meet new friends. Our major events are the Blind Date Balls: semi-formal occasions that are held at an undisclosed location and attended by blind dates set up by roommates and friends.​

Simply Healthy

As the health education and wellness club on campus, Simply Healthy's mission is to educate fellow students about making healthy choices in all aspects of life. We take a holistic and balanced approach to health. Our definition of "healthy" includes being active, eating nutritious foods, getting enough sleep, making good choices for both mind and body, being emotionally and spiritually sound, and being happy. Our goal is to help students stay healthy and happy all year by organizing health related events on campus. ​​

Step 1

S.T.E.P 1, a peer education club, strives to promote a wellness environment in the academic and social lives of Providence College students. Through various presentations, such as Assertiveness and Self Esteem, Eating Disorders, and Stress Control, peer educators encourage other students to talk openly about responsible habits and attitudes concerning alcohol and other related issues. If you are interested in taking part in these programs or becoming a peer educator, please contact our office at x1599.

Student Alumni Association

The Student Alumni Association strives to facilitate an active relationship between students and alumni with a sense of pride, loyalty, and tradition.​  Members increase student awareness of the PC National Alumni Association through services, programming, and special events. The Student Alumni Association also enhances the education of students and prepares them to serve as future alumni leaders and volunteers.​​​

Toastmasters International is an organization for public speaking. In PC’s chapter of the internationally recognized club, members develop communication skills and self-confidence among a group of supportive peers. Each meeting begins with members warming up by telling jokes or answering discussion questions. Then, members give speeches based on the topics in the Toastmasters Ten Speech Series. Speakers receive constructive feedback from other members of the group. Once a member has given ten speeches, he or she becomes a “Competent Communicator.​​​
