Fête Française
Fête Française brings French culture to the Providence College campus. We strive to attract students from all backgrounds to discover and enjoy the Francophone world through a number of events, activities and learning experiences throughout the year.
We meet every other Thursday at 7:00 PM in the BMSA office, located in Lower Slavin. Our meetings are themed to celebrate a different part of the French culture and each time we will be learning French expressions, different Francophone cultures, and current French music.
Our most popular campus events include Mardi Gras-Carnivale, Fill Your Own Crepe Day, Art Gallery Night, Fondue Night and a Speaker from the Haitian Project. As a club we take trips to La Creperie on Thayer St., French Bistros in Downtown Providence, RISD Art Museum and the Providence French Film Festival.
