Colleges Against Cancer

College’s Against Cancer, also known as CAC, is one of the largest clubs on campus that dedicates their time to fighting cancer. CAC puts on several events each semester, its largest being Relay for Life in the spring. Relay for Life is a fundraiser held at Providence College, which makes several thousands of dollars each year. All of these funds are donated to the American Cancer Society, which help support finding a cure. Other events put on by CAC include trips to Hasbro hospital to visit cancer patients, The Breast Cancer Buffet and The Great American Smokeout, just to name a few. Our mission is to educate, advocate, and fight one of the most deadly diseases in our world today. We fight back because we want to see more birthdays!
