The Student Recognition Ceremony was created through the joint effort of administrators in the S.A.I.L. Office and members of Student Congress to recognize the significant contributions of student clubs and organizations to co-curricular life at Providence College, our surrounding community, and the student body. The events, organizations, and individuals recognized by this program have put forth great effort to provide experiences that complement classroom learning, build community, and promote the College's mission to provide "a variety of opportunities for intellectual, social, moral, and spiritual growth." The Student Recognition Ceremony seeks to show the College's appreciation of these efforts. Awards are given to organizations for creative advertising, successful fundraising, innovative programming, impactful community service projects and other important accomplishments.
