Alembic

The Alembic is the international journal published yearly by Providence College. Our own talented students, along with artists and writers from around the world, submit their works to be published in this distinguished journal.

Art Journal

Titled Kunstverstandis, the art journal is an appreciation of unique and creative artwork, showcasing the works of Providence College students.

Cowl

The Cowl is the student-run newspaper of Providence College. Since 1935, The Cowl has been informing the campus and the Providence College community. The Cowl contains six sections: News, World, Commentary, Arts & Entertainment, Portfolio, and Sports. The Cowl's staff is not limited to writers, only. Copy editors, photographers, cartoonists, circulations personnel, an advertisement staff, and many others all contribute to making the weekly publication a useful source for campus news, and much more. More than anything, The Cowl provides a forum for objective reporting and dynamic creativity. Its proud legacy and eclectic mix of personnel make The Cowl on of Providence College's most unique organizations.

Veritas

Since 1928, Veritas has been the Providence College yearbook. A lot of changes have occurred on the campus since its inception, and the book has chronicled most of them. If you have an interest in photography, layout, or writing, join our staff and have a hand in preserving your PC memories.

WDOM-FM

WDOM Providence College Radio is a student-operated, non-commercial educational radio station. Our frequency is 91.3 FM on the radio dial. WDOM is an ever growing media outlet that streams online and interacts with the Providence Metropolitan area. At WDOM, we give students the ability to exercise their wide variety of music and talk interests to the entire public. WDOM is also a vehicle to inspire students to enter the field of broadcasting and other related fields. We operate from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 a.m., each day during the school year. We hold many events throughout the year, from our annual Stuartstock concert to numerous open Mic nights, which give the student performers the stage in McPhail's throughout the year.

PCTV

PCTV is Providence College's student-operated television production organization. While offerng hands-on experience in the television and broadcasting fields to PC students, it provides the campus with an inside peek at different aspects of Friar Life. PCTV aims to produce high quality, educational, informational, and entertaining programs. All of the original content is student produced - from concept to finished product - and students fill all roles in the creation of the programs. Endless hours of content are generated between the three main departments: Entertainment, News, and Sports. Each section has a specialized staff assigned to writing, filming, editing, and producing specific shows relevant to the department. By being involved with PCTV, Providence College students are given the opportunity to work in a professional environment with specialized equipment, in order to prepare them for the professional market.
