Planning and Selecting Internships    

Social Work StudentsThe Director of Field Education for the Department of Social Work is responsible for assisting you with planning and establishing your internships for the practicum. The Social Work Program has training affiliations with a wide range of community organizations serving a diverse population of clients and representing various fields of practice, problem areas, and systems levels--schools, child welfare organizations, family stabilization programs, health and mental health organizations, courts, social action organizations, and social policy research and planning groups. We work with you to establish internships that fit your interests and professional development needs.
