This form should be completed by a member of Providence College’s faculty or full-time staff* who knows the applicant well enough to evaluate his/her capability as a member of the Orientation Staff.

*Students who matriculated to the college this fall may choose to ask a former employer, guidance counselor or teacher to recommend them.

The Providence College New Student Orientation Program is very important as it is one of the first involvements incoming students and their families have with the college. As you know, first impressions can be lasting impressions.

Orientation Staff members must be students who are enthusiastic about PC. Additionally, they should possess: leadership skills, knowledge of the PC community, strong communication skills, ability to work well with others, self-confidence, and adaptability. Students must have a respect for the regulations of PC and take an active part in the life of the College. Finally, leaders must be academically and personally a credit to Providence College.
