A Message from the Executive Director

Headshot of Major John LeydonThe safety and security of all members of the Providence College community are among this institution's highest priorities.  On behalf of College President Rev. Brian J. Shanley, O.P., we want to assure our students and their families, and our faculty and staff, that we have a coordinated and comprehensive plan in place for responding to a variety of emergencies that could occur as a result of human action or natural events.  Members of the Providence College Public Safety and Emergency Management teams work collaboratively with the Providence Police Department to monitor local, regional, national, and international events that may affect Providence College.  Key information is shared between our team and local, state, and federal law‐enforcement teams.
