The Providence College Recycling Program recycles all computers and parts, as well as many other electronic devices.  We will take the following items for recycling:

  • Computers
  • Typewriters
  • Televisions
  • Fluorescent Light Bulbs
  • Ballasts
  • Batteries
  • Telephones, speakers etc.
  • Misc. electronics
NLR Inc., our electronics recycling contractor, provides comprehensive universal waste managment services for all of the items listed above. Our goal is to significantly reduce environmental contamination associated with improper disposal of all universal wastes, from mercury found in flouescent lightbulbs, to other toxic metals found in computer hard drives. All materials are properly packaged and labeled for transport and delievery. All waste manifests and certificates of recycling and destruction are maintained on file for an extended period oftime for liability purposes.
