Additional Materials
The Recycling Program also recycles the following materials:
VCR/VHS
Tapes
Cell Phones
Magnetic Tape
Packing Peanuts
All of the above items can be dropped off at the recycling office, located in Harkins LL18. Small items can be sent via inter-office mail, addressed to: Office of Environmental Health and Safety.
In addition to these materials, we also recycle the following items after completing large-scale renovation or building projects:
Misc. Construction Materials
Refrigerators
Washers, Dryers, Microwaves
Scrap Metal
Construction materials and scrap metals are collected by maintenance workers and outside contractors and are either reused, recycled or turned in for cash that comes back to the college.
Donations: Providence College quite often donates used furnitire, etc., to various charities and organizations.
