During the Night there fell on them a panic, for causeless terrors are said to come from the god Pan.

Ancient greeks knew the god Pan to spark sudden fear, providing us with the word panic.  Appropriately, the PAN lab is dedicated to psychological & neuroscientific investigations of fear.

The lab, recently moved from Southern Indiana (then known as SIAN) is investigating several areas of interest while training undergraduates for a lifelong love of quality research & scholarship.

Below you can find a sample of our recent work as well as a couple of fun random things.  You can also find a list of our current projects as well information about both past and present lab members by using the menu on the right.
