International Parliamentary Union is the focal point for world-wide parliamentary dialogue and works for peace and co-operation among peoples and for the firm establishment of representative democracy and focuses on gender balance in parliaments as one of its issues.

Center for Advancement of Women in Politics (CAWP) aims to foster an appreciation of women's contribution to politics, government and public decision-making in the United Kingdom and Ireland. They consider women's political participation as having two important dimensions- the proportion of women in decision-making and the inclusion of women's perspectives in government policies and programs.

Center for Asia-Pacific Women in Politics is a non-partisan, non-profit and non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting equal participation of women in politics and decision-making.

Filipino Women in Politics and Government aims to primarily provide full and up-to-date information on the total dimension of the issue of greater participation of Filipino women in politics and governance. This website hopes to serve as a venue for on-line information exchange, discussion and debate on pressing issues, theory, strategy and tactics, agenda, etc. among and between policy-makers, advocates, winners, candidates, voters – all the stakeholders concerned with advancing women in politics and public policy.

The Center for Women's Global Leadership is a unit of the Institute for Women's Leadership - a consortium of six women's programs at Rutgers University created to study and promote how and why women lead, and to develop programs that prepare women of all ages to lead effectively. The Center for Women's Global Leadership develops and faciliates women's leadership for women's human rights and social justice worldwide.

Kyoko Mataki
The Kanagawa Network Movement (NET) is a political party established at the grassroots level to promote the equal representation of women in politics, and has sent many members to local assemblies since its establishment in 1984. Kyoko Mataki heads the organization and serves in the Kanagawa prefectural assembly.

U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein

Senator Dianne Feinstein was elected to the Senate in 1992 with the most votes cast for a Senator in U.S. history. She is the first woman to serve on the Senate Judiciary Committee. Feinstein is a ranking member of the Technology and Terrorism Subcommittee and a member of the Select Committee on Intelligence.

The Assault Weapons Ban - Won one of the toughest battles of her career with passage of this measure in 1994 to prohibit the manufacture and sale of 19 types of military-style assault weapons.

California Desert Protection Act- which protected more than 7 million acres of pristine California desert and established the Death Valley and Joshua Tree National Parks and the East Mojave Natural Preserve.

Breast Cancer Research Stamp Act - which has raised more than $30 million for breast cancer research to date through the creation of the Breast Cancer Research Stamp.

UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT

Women's Leadership Forum of the Democratic National Committee
provides training and recruitment of women, through its Women's Vote Center, to build a national network of women leaders and activits.

National Federation of Republican Women is a political network for women in the Republican Party.

Women's Campaign Fund is a non-partisan PAC providing funding and political resources for pro-choice women candidates at the local, state and national levels.

National Order of Women Legislators was founded in 1938 and is a non-partisan organization whose membership is made up of women serving as current state legislators and former state legislators.

Women in Government is a bi-partisan, non-profit educational association for elected women in all state governments. Women in Goverment promotes informed policymaking and the leadership role of women by providing issue education and opportunities for idea and information exchange.

Women's Legislative Network is the only affiliate of the National Conference of State Legislators (NCSL). Women's Legislative Network is an organization that includes all women legislators by virtue of their election to office. The mission of the Women's Legislative Network is to promote the participation, empowerment, and leadership of women legislators.

National Women's Political Caucus (NWPC), founded in 1971, the NWPC is dedicated to increasing the number of pro-choice women in elected and appointed office regardless of party affiliation.

Women Under Forty Political Action Committee was created to support the efforts of young women running for the US Congress and state legislatures.
