Dr. Sam Sheppard-
Prominent doctor in Cleveland, Ohio during the nineteen forties and fifties.
He was accused of killing his wife, Marilyn Sheppard while on vacation
at the families beach house.

Marilyn Sheppard- Wife of Doctor Samuel Sheppard who was murdered
at the beach house on July 4, 1954.
Sam
Reese Sheppard- The son of Dr. Sheppard and Marilyn Sheppard, Sam
was just 7 years old when his mother was murdered.He has dedicated most
of his life to solving his mothers murder and to reforming the criminal
justice system on a broader level.

Bailey- Dr. Sheppard's lawyer and a key figure in getting the courts
to overturn the original conviction of Dr. Sheppard.
Susan Hayes- Lab technician who testified to Dr. Sam Sheppard's infedelities
after having had an affair with him.
Richard
Eberling- Convicted criminal and thief who had done some cleaning
in the Sheppard's house prior to the murder. It was later stated that
Eberling admitted to killing Marilyn Sheppard but this was never proved
because he died in jail without ever fully explaining himself.
