OMNI Development Corporation has received many awards for their pioneering efforts to improve low-income housing in Providence, Rhode Island.

1994 Affirmative Action Award

-"To Omni Development from Rhode Island Housing and Mortgage Finance Corporation for employing the highest percentage of women and minority workers on the job site [for the Harvard/Broad Project]."

39-41 Harvard Avenue after renovation

1995 Preservation Award by Rhode Island Historic Preservation Commission

-"In transforming two decayed inner city homes to attractive affordable apartments, the development orchestrated a complex planning and financing project and achieved a high standard for rehabilitation. 576 Broad Street and 39-41 Harvard Avenue clearly demonstrate the historic preservation and affording housing are indeed complementary goals."

1997 Award for Residential Adaptive Reuse

- Awarded for the rehabilitation of the former St. Maria's Home (presently The Governor) presented by Providence Preservation Society.

1998 Affirmative Action Award

- "To Omni Development from Rhode Island Housing and Mortgage Finance Corporation for employing the highest percentage of women and minority workers on the job site [for The Whitmarsh]."
