Summary Biography
  A veteran of the Political Science Department, Professor Hyde has been a constant on the Providence College campus since 1970. Specializing in state politics, research methods, and various types of political organizations, “Doc” Hyde has consistently been active in both academic convention participation and through a variety of publications. Over the past 10 years, Dr. Hyde has expanded his work-load to include an adjunct position as professor of Political Science at the University of Rhode Island. Recently he has completed, in conjunction with Dr. Carlson, a new textbook for empirical analysis courses.
