New Student Orientation Staff
Each year, a staff of dedicated and enthusiastic student leaders help welcome new students and families to the Providence College community during our Advising & Registration Days, Parent Orientation, and Fall Orientation programs.
The staff consists of three different positions:
- Orientation Coordinators are juniors or seniors who assist with selecting, training and supervising the Orientation staff, as well as planning and executing the program
- Orientation Leaders are sophomores, juniors and seniors who assist new students and families with the college transition, and help facilitate Orientation programming
- Operations Team members are sophomores, juniors and seniors who assist with behind the scenes program details, and fill in for Orientation Leaders as needed throughout the program
The Orientation Staff works collaboratively with the Resident Assistants, professional staff and faculty, to make for as smooth a transition as possible for new students and families.
