PC to Host St. Dominic Weekend

More than 300 benefactors and friends will be the guests of honor when Providence College celebrates its third annual St. Dominic Weekend on Friday and Saturday, September 30 and October 1, on campus.

St. Dominic Weekend honors the commitment of the College’s most loyal and generous benefactors in the St. Dominic Society, the Harkins Society, and the 1917 Society.

This year’s theme, Celebrating Your Commitment, recognizes the generosity and commitment benefactors make in supporting students in their educational journey as well as the College overall in its most compelling priorities.

Weekend highlights will include special recognition of 1917 Society and Harkins Society members, a luncheon honoring scholarship and Angel Fund donors for their commitment to supporting students in need, and the culminating program, St. Dominic Evening of Appreciation.

The evening’s keynote speaker will be Doris Burke ’87, ’92G, and ’05Hon., basketball analyst and reporter for ESPN, ABC Sports, the NCAA, and the NBA.
