Providence College Campus Project Updates

4/12/2017 - Huxley Avenue Transformation - Southern end of Huxley Avenue is being prepared for new pedestrian walkways.

Picture 1 - The use of recycled material continues to be of high importance at PC.  Here boulders that once lined Huxley Avenue and Glay Field as part of the large rock wall are being reused as foundations for the new stone walls being constructed in Picture 2. 

 Picture 2 -New stone walls are being constructed. Workers use concrete to infill voids between stones.

​2/27/2017 - Huxley Transformation Video Update

2/13/2017 - Sustainability was always a part of the plan for the business school.
The the newly opened Ryan School of Business was spotlighted in the January edition of The Campus Green.  Read more about the sustainable practices that were implemented during construction.


1/24/2017 - The soft opening of the Arthur & Patricia Ryan Center for Business Studies was attended by many.  Fr. Brian Shanley, President, Dr. Hugh Lena, Provost and Dr. Sylvia Maxfield, Dean of ​​​​School of Business led the event. A formal Grand Opening and Dedication ceremony is scheduled for April 29, 2017.
