Special Olympics

special-olympics.jpg

Special Olympics transforms lives through the joy of sport, every day, everywhere. Special Olympics is the world’s largest sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities: with nearly 4 million athletes in more than 170 countries -- and millions more volunteers and supporters like you!

PC's Special Olympics group in Campus Ministry organizes several events throughout year - including a soccer tournament, two basketball tournaments in Peterson Recreation Center, and an on-campus swim meet. Each year hundreds of PC student volunteers help coordinate these athletic events with Special Olympics of Rhode Island. Meetings are typically held on Tuesdays in the chapel basement at 7:00 pertaining to upcoming events!
