Sr. Anne Frances Klein, O.P.

Campus Minister

Sister Anne Frances is from the Dominican Sisters of Nashville, TN. A native of Boulder, Colorado, she enjoys hiking in the mountains, biking and doing anything outside. Sister received  a masters in Catholic Studies at the University of Saint Thomas in Saint Paul, MN. Sister oversees the Community Life Ministries, leads the Women’s Wilderness retreat and guides the Women’s Study group. Father Dominic Verner and Sister team teach the RCIA program for students who are interested in joining the Catholic Church. She enjoys conversing with a variety of people, having a good laugh and hearing stories about people’s lives.

Jane McGuirk

Senior Office Assistant

Jane Larson McGuirk has had the best job on campus since 1999 and, during that time, has worked with five great Chaplains.  She has loved each and every year and each and every student.  If you have a random question about Campus Ministry, ask Jane.  She won’t always know the answer, but she’ll usually know how to find it.  Jane graduated from Bethany College in Kansas a long time ago in a state far far away and went to graduate school at Miami of Ohio.   She is married to Jim McGuirk, Class of 1967.  They have two adult children, Brian and Amy, and a golden retriever, Brady.  In her spare time, Jane enjoys gardening, reading, building things and taking Brady for walks on campus.

Bob Pfunder

Campus Minister

Bob Pfunder is Campus Minister for Global Service and Justice in Campus Ministry. He works with student leaders on the Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, and Social Justice Advocacy ministries, as well as the NOLA and International Immersions. A PC alum himself (Class of 2009), he went on for a Master of Theological Studies degree at the University of Notre Dame and continued at ND running a theological service program for graduate students. He returned to PC in 2014, along with his wife, Elizabeth (Class of 2008). Bob and Liz did, in fact, meet at PC, where they played music at the 10:30pm Mass. In April 2015, they welcomed their daughter, Grace Anne, who is already frequenting campus ministry with her big cheeks and infectious smile.

Fr. Philip Neri Reese, O.P.

Assistant Chaplain

Fr. Philip Neri Reese, O.P.One of PC's two assistant chaplains, Fr. Philip-Neri Reese, O.P. serves as Chaplain to the Peer Ministry Program and Director of Formation for the peer ministers, working closely (and happily!) with Kelly Hughes. He also teaches philosophy. Fr. Philip-Neri graduated from Dickinson College in 2007, entered the Dominican Order in 2009, and made his solemn vows as a friar preacher in 2013. In 2015 he completed a Licentiate in Philosophy at the Catholic University of America and was ordained a priest  of Jesus Christ. Fr. Philip-Neri loves attention, hates Awful Awfuls (sorry, Newport Creamery!), and is constitutionally incapable of "planning things" (sorry, Kelly!). He will drop anything to hear a confession and will do anything to preach the gospel. He has the best job in the world.

Dominic oversees Faith Formation in Campus Ministry, and he is always at your service!
