Dr. Michelle Jones received her Ph.D. from Claremont Graduate University in Organizational Behavior in 2002. Prior to coming to Providence College, she taught courses in Organizational Behavior and Leadership at Boston University and UMass, Lowell, respectively. Currently, she is a tenure track faculty in the Management Department, where she teaches courses in Organizational Behavior, Business Communications and Human Resource Management. She also acts as the faculty advisor for the Future Friar Executives, a student-run organization focused on enhancing the business education of Providence College students. Dr. Jones' research interests lie in the areas of positive psychology and work-related attitudes. Over the course of the next few years, she hopes to continue this line of research with the aim of developing actionable items managers can implement to maximize employee hapiness in the workplace. |
