Providence College Now Among Top 20 Universities for American Students Studying Abroad

Providence, R.I. – Providence College climbed into the top 20 list, tied at No. 19 in the category of Master’s Colleges and Universities, in the annual ranking of higher education institutions with the most students studying abroad. PC had 221 students studying overseas for academic credit in 2012-13, the most recent year for which figures are available, according to the Open Doors Report by the Institute of International Education, a New York-based nonprofit. This is the first time Providence College has been ranked this high by the Institute.
