According to a recent article from USA Today, an increasing number of shoppers are still turning to gift cards for presents this holiday season. A study by the National Retail Federation found that gift card spending will reach an all-time high, with more than 80% of shoppers planning to purchase at least one. In addition, companies are continuing to roll out new versions of their respective gift cards. For example, Starbucks recently rolled out limited edition $450 gift cards, geared toward the high-end consumer.
