Dr. Jeffrey Pugh, assistant professor of political science discusses the events taking place this week in Washington, D.C. in regard to immigration reform.
Last week, a bipartisan group of senators unveiled a set of principles for comprehensive immigration legislation that includes a pathway to citizenship for the 11 million immigrants already in the country illegally, contingent on first securing the nation’s borders.
The Obama administration also presented its immigration reform plan.
