    EXAMS:

    1. October 7 - chapters 1, 2 (40% will be take home)
    2. November 11 & 13 - chapters 3, 4
    3. December 13 (Saturday 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm) - chap 8 [FINAL]

    NOTES:

    • the best examinations will count each as 34% and the worst will count as 17%
    • three homework projects done on the computer will count as 15%
    • no class on Tuesday, September 30 (Rosh Hashanah) 
    • no class on Thursday, October 9 (Yom Kippur)
    • no class on Tuesday, October 14 (Monday schedule)

    ATTENDANCE:

      More that 3 unexcused absences will lower the final grade

    EXAM POLICY:

      Makeup examinations will be given only to students who notify me in advance through the Dean's office or by written medical excuse. Valid excuses from the Dean's Office, Athletic Department, Physician, or Religious holiday will be accepted.
