Marc LePage Memorial Scholarship

The Marc LePage Memorial Scholarship at Providence College was established by Marc's parents to honor his short but remarkable life. Marc (1971-2002) was born and raised in Virgina. After attending Northern Virginia Community College, Marc became a part owner and manager of two art galleries in Virginia. He was also a Civil War buff and involved in the preservation of Civil War sites in Virginia. He had a gentle nature, and was generous with helping and counseling others in need. He was married to the former Daniele Godwin; they had no children. His father was the first Providence College student to spend his junior year studying abroad (University of Louvain, 1962-1963). The family felt that it was thus appropriate to establish a scholarship fund in Marc's name for students interested in studying abroad, with priority given to those majoring in Fine Arts and Modern Languages.
