Luis da Costa was married in June 2000 and is living in Cumberland, RI. After graduating from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, MA, he is now Counsel to the Commissioner at the Massachusetts Division of Insurance.
Andrea (Eastwood) Paiva recently completed the Ph.D. program at URI in Experimental Psychology with a focus on methodology, substance abuse and behavioral medicine. She writes that "I am excited to be working on creating health behavior change interventions for all ages and in many different areas of health. I am continuing on with the same company that I have been working for over the past 3 years (Pro-Change Behavior Systems, Inc.). Pro-Change develops and delivers innovative programs that assists clients in improving the health of their populations and organizations. She is also the proud parent of a daughter, Anne, and a son, Michael!
Erin (Hibbard) DeCarli worked as a community relations specialist for Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT before marrying Michael DeCarli, a lieutenant in the US Navy and moving to Yulee, FL. AFter working in the marketing department at Amelia Island Plantation , a AAA 4-star resort on Amelia Island in Northeast Florida, she recently decided to become a licensed mortgage broker.
Maureen Kelly currently works at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, MA as the Business Manager of the Operating Rooms. Pursuing Masters in Business Administration degree in the Health Sector Management Program at Boston University School of Management.
Stacie Lallier is a Medical Research Associate in Cardiovascular Clinical Sciences at Boston Scientific Corporation. Prior to assuming her current position, she worked as a regulatory assistant in the Division of Infectious Disease at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA, where she coordinated clinical trials for the HIV population and infections associated with organ transplantation. Stacie is now pursuing a master's degree in regulatory affairs and health policy at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.
Andrew Lough is employed as Audit Associate for the accounting firm of Lefkowitz, Garfinkel, Champi & DeRienzo P.C. in Providence, RI. He writes that "I have really enjoyed my work in the healthcare area. I have completed two audits on healthcare facilities and have learned a tremendous amount about the industry. I even was able to sit in on a profit enhancement seminar for one of the audits which focuses on how to cut costs."
Monica Macri worked as an Outreach Worker for the CHOW Project (Community Health Outreach Work to Prevent AIDS) - a syringe exchange program in Honolulu, Hawaii. Upon moving to New York, she worked as a Research Assistant for the Baron Edmond de Rothschild Chemical Dependancy Institute at Beth Israel Medical Center. She is currently a ResearchAssociate at the National Development and Research Institutes, Inc. (NDRI) working on a longitudinal study funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) examining HIV and STI infection among male-to-femaletransgender persons in the New York metropolitan area. Monica is also a graduate student enrolled in the MPH program at Hunter College. She married Bob Marino (2000) on June 24, 2005. Monica currently lives in New York City.
Mike Vacca worked at ClinCare in Norwood, Massachusetts, where he was a data management associate coordinating phase II, III and IV clinical studies for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. He writes that "We purchased software called Study Manager which takes every aspect of the clinical studies business and organizes it using this well integrated software. My task is to implement this software, first at a corporate level then to all of our sites. Study Manager will soon be the brain of our company by collecting data, producing useful reports and recruiting patients for us. The clinical research industry is very interesting and this project I am working on is challenging and fun."

In July 2002, he married Kristen [Bergstresser '00] and currently lives in Providence.
