"Being a part of the Feinstein Institute means being part of something greater. I feel like I am one part of a puzzle because through working with other members of the Institute, community partners, and other PC students, we can piece together ways in which we can make our community and other communities more accessible and inclusive."

- Elizabeth Connor '20
(Community Liaison at PASA)

The Feinstein Institute for Public Service is a campus-wide resource for all students, providing programs, courses, and opportunities for students to become active and engaged in the community. Students of all academic disciplines, class years, and interests are invited to participate in the Institute’s various opportunities for engagement:

Community Liaisons

Students serve as liaisons between community partners and students engaged in service-learning courses.

Community Work-Study

Community Work-Study is an opportunity for students with a federal work-study award to work at partnered community organizations and be paid through their work-study funding.

The mission of the EXPLORE! program is to promote awareness of, access to and readiness for college and career among first-generation local high school students while, at the same time, supporting and enhancing the educational experience of Providence College students.

Global Service-Learning

Travel, experience, reflection, and academic inquiry form the foundation of global service-learning experiences at Providence College. In a process that deepens learning and enhances either a Winter, Spring, or Summer Break travel experience, students analyze and reflect upon travel and community engagement in a related course throughout the fall, spring, or maymester terms.
