Community Partner Sites

Community Partners are representatives of local community-based organizations who work closely with the Feinstein Institute's students and faculty to ensure that our service experiences address actual needs within the community.
Goals for Community Partnerships
Partners commit to joint, long term planning for common goals, which are regularly assessed
Common goals of partnership are clearly delineated, whether in writing or informally (Including minimum time commitment and resources)
Partnership commits to assessing impact and program evaluation, including continuous dialogue and reflection between Community Partner, Service Learning Coordinator, Faculty, and Students
Strong focus on benefits to a specific community (Particularly Smith Hill but also Olneyville, South Providence, and neighborhoods with high population of residents with low socioeconomic status)
Partners agree to jointly support student learning and development, including development of course learning objectives and/or Public Service Competencies
Partners agree to collaborate on research, teaching, and fundraising when appropriate
