The Office of the Dean of Students stands at the nexus of the Providence College Student Life experience. In partnership with the other Student Life departments (Residence Life, Citizenship & Off-Campus Life, Student Activities & Cultural Programming, and Community Standards) we play a dynamic role in the journey of discovery our students embark upon in college. Informed by our Dominican tradition, the Office of the Dean of Students works to fulfill the mission of the College by providing diverse experiences, activities, and support that prepare students for lives of purpose and meaning.
The Office of the Dean of Students serves as a resource and advocate for students as they navigate college and pursue their academic and personal goals. In addition to serving as advisors to several key campus clubs and organizations, we also oversee the development and implementation of the Division's Contemplation & Communication and Cultural Agility programming (pillars II and III of The Friar Four).
