Through this year’s Freshman Common Reading Program book, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, your student learned how Henrietta unknowingly contributed to some of the major developments of modern medicine. Though Henrietta died in 1951, her cells live on — even at PC. Tour the labs where faculty and students have the opportunity to research and study using Henrietta’s cells, known as HeLa cells.

Black and White Night with Classic Trax

Join us for an interactive show by one of New England’s most popular live bands, Classic Trax. Though the band has performed for the Boston Red Sox and as an opening act for the Beach Boys and Jessica Simpson, Classic Trax considers McPhail’s its home away from home.
The response to this evening event in McPhail’s has been overwhelming. The venue is open to all PC students as well as our freshman families who have indicated an interest in hearing the sounds of Classic Trax. Please note that this event will fill to capacity quickly. Admittance will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Early arrival is encouraged.
