Enter the Inaugural Northeast Region Tee Shirt Design Contest.

We are looking for a design for the Northeast Region ASBMB Undergraduate Affiliates Network Tee Shirt. Each Affiliated Program may submit one entry. The winning entry will be selected by the ASBMB Education and Professional Development Committee. The winning School or Program will receive 50 tee shirts imprinted with the design (various sizes as requested by the winning school or program).

Rules:

1. The design should reflect the themes of the ASBMB UAN.
2. The design should fit in an 11 inch wide by 14 inch deep format.
3. Do not use School or Program Specific Logos-the winning design will be available to all schools and programs in the region.
4. The design must be submitted by May 1st, 2004 and the winning design, along with the other winning designs from the other regions, will be unveiled at the 2004 ASBMB Annual Meeting in Boston in June.

"The Road to New Medicines and Rewarding Scientific Careers"
Pfizer Global Research and Development, Groton, CT
The event, which includes dinner, begins at 6:00 p.m.
Description: Learn about ways that women scientists with diverse academic training contribute to the development of new medicines. Panel discussion revealing how scientists at Pfizer have transitioned from academia to industry. There will also be a poster presentation that highlights the wide-ranging roles our scientists play in various departments.
