One of the most important factors in defining your career options or choosing your major (or minor) is knowing yourself. Career Services has many tools for students to use to help assess their interests.

As you research careers, remember that career decision-making is a complex process that will change and develop over time. As you begin to fine-tune your career interests, be sure to include the following steps in your discovery:
- Network Attend career panels
- Gain experience
Launch
Create an action plan for your job search or graduate school plans. As you create your plan, be sure to:
- Perform career, industry and employer research
- Participate in the on-campus recruiting program
- Research graduate/professional school programs of interest and begin the application process
