The Career Education Center collaborates with graduate students to help them identify, enhance and accomplish their career development goals through participation in securing internships, job search, career fair and interviewing skill preparation.

January is Networking Month and several dates are held across the area that connext Alumni and Students. They are great opportunities to network with alumni and get an insider's view of the world of work. Alumni-Student Career Nights are NOT Job Fairs. They are networking opportunities that provide you with the chance to speak with alumni about careers and get advice on your internship and job search.
Participating in Networking Events Provides:
An opportunity to speak with alumni and ask questions
Explore career fields of interest and/or identify new career ideas
Gain insight into the skills, qualities and experience necessary for career opportunities
Get search strategies and feedback on your internship, summer job or full time job search process
Develop contacts and possible referrals for further follow-up
