Business Advisory Council

The Business Advisory Council (BAC) exists to support the Providence College School of Business (PCSB) in its efforts to achieve its mission and to continually improve its educational quality.  As the PCSB moves beyond the achievement of AACSB accreditation, the BAC will play a critical role in helping the school to garner a national reputation as a center of excellence for business education.

The BAC fulfills the following specific functions:

  1. Advises the PCSB and acts as a sounding board to help advance the School as a respected provider of business education on the national level.
  2. Participates in the life of the PCSB through, for example, being a guest speaker, mentoring students and faculty, supporting student clubs and other non-traditional elements of students’ education, supporting and/or judging case and business plan competitions.
  3. Provides introductions to the business community to help promote, for example, student recruitment, internships, student placement, and student consulting projects.
  4. Assists in fundraising and development events for the PCSB.
