A minor in Black Studies can be paired with many different majors at Providence College. Many of the courses in the Black Studies program are cross-listed in departments such as Sociology, Social Work, History, Economics, Political Science, Music, Art History, Education, and English. Obtaining a minor in Black Studies help students develop a multicultural mindset and gain an understanding of environmental and human needs across racial and national boundaries.
