Welcome to the
Balfour Center for Multicultural Affairs

Translations of the word "welcome" from wikipedia.org.

Providence College's Balfour Center for Multicultural Affairs seeks to provide opportunities for all faculty, staff and student to increase awareness, understanding and the appreciation of diversity.

In addition, we provide academic, social, cultural, and personal programs and services that support, retain, and graduate AHANA (African-, Hispanic-, Asian- and Native American) and Multicultural Scholarship Program (MSP) students.

Students are encouraged to become involved in the activities and projects designed to add to their academic, personal, cultural and professional development. Student organizations like the African-American Society, S.O.A.R. (Society Organized Against Racism), Fête Française, Circolo Italiano, Clube Portugues, Gaelic Society, Asian American Club, Middle Eastern Student Association (MESA), Eastern European Union, and Amigos Unidos, dedicated to sharing and celebrating the various cultures with the Providence College community, are highly recommended.
