Welcome to the Providence College Assessment Web site!
The formal, assessment program at Providence College began in 1999. Since that time, all departments, programs, and units of the College have endeavored to articulate intended learning and operational outcomes and to measure effectiveness using a variety of tools and methods. In addition, campus-wide data is gathered regularly and according to a master planning calendar using several commercial and self-developed instruments.
Coordination of the assessment program is provided by the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the broadly representative Committee on Assessment Issues & Resources (CAIR).
