The three top students in this years class​ share several things in common: all are Women, all have a 3.99 GPA, all studied in the Liberal Arts Honors Program, and all majored within the School of Arts & Science​​​s.​​​

Fulbright Scholars

Two students from the School of Arts & Sciences awarded Fulbright Teaching Assistantships​.​  Kelley Garland '16, a global studies major and sociology and French minor, will head to Czech Republic, while Abbey Guerino '16, an English and Spanish double major, is going to Spain.​

Academic Journey Inspires Curiosity, Growth


For Patricia Krupinski '16, an Art History and English double major with a 3.95 GPA, PC's strong Catholic tradition, rigorous Liberal Arts Honors Program, and close-knit community, was the perfect vehicle to develop as a scholar and person of faith​.​​​

Community Service Into ​Practice​ ​​

​Matthew Henry Smith '16​, a Public and Community Service Studies major and Newman Civic Fellow, put academics into practice, serving as the V.P of the Board of Multicultural Student Affairs, and as an advocate for various social issues.​

​​Legion of Valor Award​

John D. Jovan, III '16, a biology major and ROTC cadet, was recently commissioned as a U.S. Army second Lieutenant​ and will be stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia.​

 Class Oration

Meghan C. Lescault '16, a humanities major, who shared the honor of highest academic rank with Rebecca Marisseau '16 and Cayla Stifler '16, provided the oration to her fellow classmates at the Academic Awards Ceremony on May 14.
