Professor seeks alumni help in leadership seminar
Dr. Matthew Eriksen, associate professor of management, is looking for alumni who would be willing to be interviewed about leadership by students in his Leadership Development seminar. As part of their “Personal Leadership Conundrum” assignment, students must interview at least two leaders who have experienced or can offer insight into their dilemmas. Based on his past experience, Eriksen has found the interviews to be a great learning experience for alumni and students. Interested alumni can contact him at meriksen@providence.edu or at (401) 865-2069.

Did you know?
• Rhode Island’s college students—including those at PC—rank fourth nationally among states’ college students in volunteering in the community. Last academic year, more than 3,500 PC students devoted nearly 44,000 hours of community service to a wide array of schools, churches, agencies, and more in Greater Providence.
Former PC cross country and track standout Charlie Breagy ’84 was the race director and one of the founders of the nationally prominent CVS Caremark Downtown 5K road race, which was run in Providence on Sunday, September 21. The other founders are all former Friar runners: Mick O'Shea '77, John Treacy '78, and Richard O'Flynn '85.
