Matching gifts enhance your donation to PC Did you know that there are more than 385 corporations that will match gifts to institutions of higher learning . . . companies such as Bank of America, General Electric, and Fidelity Investments? If you are employed by such a company, your gift to Providence College can be substantially enhanced. But for this to happen, you must take the initiative by finding out if your company matches gifts and then, by contacting your human resources department for the necessary procedures. You can determine if your employer is a matching gift company by visiting www.matchinggifts.com/providence. In fiscal year 2005, the College has earned more than $179,000 from matching gift income from more than 170 companies. So, it pays to inquire!
