Developed by the Division of College Relations and Planning, the section is called "Teaching that Transforms" and is highlighted by profiles of 41 faculty members. College President Rev. Brian J. Marketing students take assignment to heart
With one fund-raiser to go, students in the College's Sports Marketing class have raised more than $10,000 so far this semester through projects intended to benefit non-profit charities and organizations. The 25 students in the class were divided into groups and required to coordinate four sports-related events that would raise at least $2,000 each. They chose to organize a "Trick or Trot" road race/fun walk, a golf tournament, a basketball tournament, and a bowl-a-thon.

Alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of Providence College have contributed $53,325 to the Joseph & Elaine Shanley Scholarship Fund in acknowledgement of the inauguration of Rev. Brian J. Shanley, O.P. '80 as the institution's 12th president. Contributions continue to be received. In addition to the men's soccer team, two PC student-athletes recorded All-America performances in the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships.
