Spotlight Providence

Congratulations on your acceptance to the Providence College Class of 2018! As the newest members of the Providence College community, we invite you to join us for a congratulatory celebration before our men's basketball team takes on DePaul University at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in downtown Providence. Meet current students and other members of the PC community prior to experiencing the excitement of a Big East Friar Basketball game!
 
Complimentary tickets (limit 3 per family) are available to the first 400 families who respond and can be picked up at the reception. Additional tickets are available for $10 each, payable on the day of the event by cash or check. All additional ticket orders must be placed by Friday, February 7 as no extras will be available at the game.

The game will start at 2:00 PM next door at "The Dunk."
 
Prior to the pep rally and basketball game, families are invited to visit campus to experience academic life at Providence College. Beginning at 9:00 AM, campus tours (including residence halls) will be offered, as well as mock classes and academic presentations. This portion is optional and details are below.

  • Campus tours depart from the front of the Ruane Center between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Separate tours of residence halls will also be available.
  • The Providence College Bookstore will be open between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM in the lower level of Slavin Center.

Thursday's winter storm is expected to leave the area overnight and Spotlight Providence WILL take place as scheduled this weekend.​

On-Campus Theatre Production
We are pleased to offer each invited student three complimentary tickets to the Providence College Department of Theatre's production of These Shining Lives on Friday, February 14 at 8 PM or Saturday, February 15 at 8 PM. Information on reserving tickets to the show will be included in the confirmation e-mail you receive following registration for Spotlight Providence. Tickets are limited.
