Alumni Admission Ambassador Reception

For everyone attending the Friar 5K and St. Dominic weekend, please join us in celebrating the work of our Alumni Ambassadors with a light cocktail reception.  This is a great chance to catch-up, meet our Dean of Admission, Raul Fonts, and a few members of our counseling staff.  We will discuss some of the initiatives of our work with students and the ways you can continue to support our volunteer program.

  • Date:  Saturday, October 4
  • Time: 4:30 – 6:00 PM
  • Location: Office of Admission Reception Area: Harkins Hall 103

I hope that you will also be able to take part in the
Friar 5K and attend the kick off of the College's centennial celebration, Our Moment: The Next Century Campaign for Providence College.

Providence College Alumni Admission Ambassadors Program (PCA3)

Since 1996, dedicated alumni across the country have worked with the Office of Admission and their local communities by attending college fairs. These individuals have provided a unique aspect to the admission process by meeting with families and sharing the spirit of the Providence community with prospective students.

The Providence College Alumni Admission Ambassador Program provides an opportunity to help promote the value of a Providence College education, and continue to expand the recruitment efforts of the Office of Admission. As Providence College continues to grow the applicant pool and the areas where we see student interest, the Office of Admission relies on Ambassadors to represent the College at fairs we are unable to attend. Our Ambassadors not only help to create a larger presence for Providence College across the country and encourage qualified students to apply, but help to share invaluable personal experiences that go beyond any brochure or website.

We invite you to share your PC story

As a graduate of PC, your ability to share your experiences as a Friar will resonate with our prospective students and their families. Each year, Ambassadors represent the College at a variety of fairs in their local area.

During the fall and spring, a list of college fairs will be posted on this website. We encourage you to volunteer for a fair that is convenient for you and to sign up by e-mailing us at pca3@providence.edu.

On this website, you will also find information that will help you to represent Providence College as you meet with prospective students. Please consider sharing your experiences and your enthusiasm for Providence College with future Friars!

If you have any questions or would like further information regarding this program, please contact Diana Gingles '08 at pca3@providence.edu.

Engage prospective students!

Beyond facts and figures, students want to learn how their college experience will be meaningful - during their four years on campus and beyond. Who better to explain this than our Alumni?

Complete an Alumni Profile and engage prospective students with your story. Reflections from Alumni Profiles will be featured on our Undergraduate website, in blog posts, and in messages to students.
