Next Steps

 

Within the next week, you will receive an e-mail detailing all of the information you will need. However, it would be particularly helpful if you get started on completing and returning the Permission Form. Upon completing the form, it can be faxed to (401) 865-2826 or, if time allows, mailed to the Office of Admission, Providence College, Harkins Hall, 1 Cunningham Square, Providence, RI 02918. Scanned copies of the form may also be e-mailed to Karen Vargas at kvargas1@providence.edu.

 

Arriving on Campus and Parking Information

 

Check-in for A Night in Friartown will be held in the Harkins Hall Rotunda. Please enter campus via the River Avenue Gate. If you are using a GPS or online map program, entering "549 River Avenue, Providence, RI 02908" will bring you to the River Avenue Gate. Upon your arrival, members of the Safety and Security staff will direct you to appropriate parking. View a map of campus (PDF).

For students who indicated they will be taking the bus transportation, our stops and departure times on Friday, April 12 are listed below:

  • 5:00 AM - Cristo Rey New York City
    112 E 106th Street, New York, NY
  • 5:30 AM - Cristo Rey Brooklyn
    2 Aberdeen Street #12, Brooklyn, NY
  • 7:15 AM - Amistad Academy
    22 Gold Avenue, New Haven, CT

Please note: The bus will provide a return trip at the conclusion of the program, and will depart from campus at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 13.

 

Family Day 2013 Information

 

On Saturday, April 13, at the conclusion of A Night in Friartown, our Family Day program begins as we welcome all students invited to the Class of 2017 to campus. More information on this portion of your visit is available on the Family Day Confirmation Page.

​Permission Form

 

All attendees are required to complete a permission form to participate in the program, which must be returned at least two days prior to the event.

Once you have completed the permission form, you may return it to the Office of Admission in the following ways:

  • By fax to (401) 865-2826
  • By e-mail (a scanned copy of the form) to kvargas1@providence.edu
