A Night in Friartown: Multicultural Overnight

Every year, the Office of Admission welcomes invited students to A Night in Friartown: Multicultural Overnight to experience Friar living and learning and get an insider's view of the campus community at Providence College. The program will take place on Friday, April 10, 2015 and will provide you with an exclusive opportunity to:
  • Stay overnight with a PC student host
  • Attend classes
  • Meet members of the faculty and campus community
  • Learn about PC's diverse academic and social offerings

A Night in Friartown is currently at capacity. While we cannot accept any additional registrations at this time, please contact Karen Vargas at if you wish to join the waiting list for the program.

​Information for Parents

Parents/guardians who will be attending the event will have specific programming on the morning of Friday, April 10.


In order to attend the program, we must receive a completed copy of the Permission/Waiver Form at least two business days before the student's arrival on campus.

Bus Transportation (CT, NY, NJ)

For accepted students from Greater New Haven, New York City, and Northern New Jersey, a chartered bus is offered free of charge to provide transportation for you to and from campus.

The bus will be making the following stops on Friday, April 10:

  1. Cristo Rey Brooklyn - 5:00 AM
    710 E 37th St, Brooklyn, NY 11203
  2. Cristo Rey New York - 5:45 AM
    112 E 106th St, New York, NY 10029
  3. Amistad High School - 7:30 AM
    580 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511

If you wish to take advantage of the bus transportation, please indicate your pick-up location on the registration form.

The bus will provide a return trip at the conclusion of the program on Saturday afternoon, April 11th.


Travel Voucher Requests

For accepted students, a limited number of travel vouchers are available. To have your request considered, please contact Karen Vargas at (401) 865-2815 or Please note that PC must have your completed CSS PROFILE and FAFSA forms on file in order to receive consideration.
