​Multicultural Scholarship Program - Four Year Development Plan



Learning outcome: Scholarship recipients will be able to adapt the Catholic and Dominican concept of faith and reason as it relates to one's independent pursuit of knowledge.


Cultural Participation

Learning outcome: Scholarship recipients will develop greater understanding of diversity and social justice issues through attendance and participation in workshops and/or cultural presentations.

In collaboration with the Office of Institutional Diversity, the Student Multicultural Activities Office, and the Office of Admission, scholarship recipients will have an opportunity to participate in a variety of multicultural programmatic initiatives, including the New Student Transition Program, Horizons Retreat, Unity Week, the Diversity and Social Justice Speaker Series, A Night in Friartown, Explore, Step-up, and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration.



Learning outcome: Scholarship recipients will gain greater self-awareness, intellectual curiosity, and sustained knowledge of their interests, values, and/or skills through career development.



Learning outcome: Scholarship recipients will increase firsthand knowledge and experience through community service opportunities.
